Review & Swatches: the Balm Products

Hi everyone!

First, I want to thank each and everyone of you who greeted me a Happy Birthday last Thursday! It really meant a lot to me and sincerely helped make my Birthday special! So, thank you! :)

I'm back today with some great summer essentials from the Balm cosmetics.

Mary Lou-Manizer is a light, gold champagne highlighter.

Frat Boy is a  matte, peachy, apricot blush.

- Great packaging & mirrored

Balm Shelter
Personally, I'm not one to wear liquid foundation or any heavy face powders. I typically use Maybelline Fit Me as an everyday powder to even out my skin tone. With that said, I don't need much coverage, but when I want to get a little fancy, I like to use tinted moisturizers. They are a great alternative for those who don't prefer the heavy feel of liquid foundation and offers light coverage.

I've tried several tinted moisturizers in the past, but was mainly let down because they were too greasy. Balm shelter offers light coverage and evens out your skin tone. It's easily bledable, offers SPF 18, non cakey/greasy, and a little bit goes a long way. In addition, this goes hand-in-hand with Sexy Mama leaving my skin matte and photo ready!

With Mary Lou-Manizer, you want to make sure you only dab a small amount of product on your brush. Remember, it's easier to add than to remove! :)

These products along with other great products can be purchased directly from thebalm.com.

Mary Lou-Manizer: $24.00 8.5g

Frat Boy: $21.00 8..5g

Sexy Mama: $19.00

Balm Shelter: $25.00 2.25 fl. oz

As always, hope this helps & happy shopping!

Do you own any the Balm products? If so, what are you're must haves? Thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!

A sample of these products were provided for review purposes. I am not being compensated in anyway, shape, or form. The reviews on Deuce Beauties my are honest opinions, based on my experience/knowledge with each product mentioned.

  14. The packaging looks so fun!
I find that it works for me to mix tinted moisturizer with regular moisturizer. I don't like a lot of coverage, but that much just evens me out a little.
