VskiiLove: Statement Lipstick Earrings

Hey beauties!

I've said it before and many of you all know that aside from nail polish, I am a HUGE lipstick junkie. When I'm not busy painting my nails and collecting nail polishes, you can find me at the makeup counter swatching lipsticks!

Today's post features a pair of gorgeous earrings from Veronica over at VskiiLove. Here are some photos!

As you can see, these are HUGE statement earrings! They are roughly about 5 inches long and are suspended with gold toned metals. Surprisingly, these are super lightweight despite their appearance. Being that these are rather large, I recommend not over accessorizing; you want the focus to be on the earrings itself.

To be honest,I was a little intimidated wearing these for the first time, but they really grew on me. I get tons of sweet compliments every time I have these on. :)

Every Beauty Boutique Swatches

Hi everyone!

I have two, beautiful polishes from Adinah over at Every Beauty Boutique. Here are some swatches! :)

She's So Crazy is a clear base packed with neon yellow glitter, aqua bar glitter, and black shreds. The black shreds didn't really translate on the nail since the base was black, but if you refer to the first pic, they're def there! ;) This applied evenly in one coat.

Blueberry Sangria is a sheer, blue jelly that consists of aqua and purple glitters, lavender micro hexes, small aqua hexes, purple shreds, and short holo aqua string glitters. Like the drink, there's something refreshing about this color combination. This was my favorite from the two. This applied like a dream in one generous coat.

Nostalgic Lacquer

Hi everyone!

Today I have four, beautiful polishes from Nostalgic Lacquer. Let's get right to it! :)

Bitchcraft is a stunner for sure! In the bottle, it looks like a murky, olive green, but on the nail, it translates as a butterscotch, goldenrod. This dries to a jelly finish and is consists of hot pink, purple, aqua glitters, small aqua hexes, medium black hexes, and small black squares. The image below was done in two coats with a slight VLN, so I recommend another coat for complete opacity. Love! :)

Like Lovin' the Dead is consists of a pale, avocado base and is packed with white and green glitters, medium black, white, and green hexes, small black squares, and medium white squares. She's done it again! This is an absolute beauty! Green happens to be one of my favorite colors so this polish and I go hand in hand! This was two generous coats.

The Criminal is a clear base packed with white, purple, silver, and indigo glitters, micro white hexes, small black and white hexes, medium white hexes, and small black squares. This applied nicely in one thick coat.

Rayanne consists of a sheer purple base and is packed with magenta and lavender glitter, small pink, purple, and silver hexes, small hot pink and lavender squares, and short pink bar glitter. This also applied nicely in one generous coat.

Ooh La Lacquer!

Hey beauties!

Today's post features a few polishes from Ooh La Lacquer. Let's get right into it, shall we?!

Beware of the Plastics is one of the three colors from the Mean Girls Collection. It consists of a clear base and is packed with matte, neon turquoise and yellow glitters and micro pink hexes. This was one generous coat over. As you can see, it's pretty dense and can be worn alone in 2-3 coats for opacity. I love this combination and I'm currently wearing it as my mani!

Matte Romance is part of the Dangerously In Matte Collection. It has a clear base and is loaded with hot pink and yellow gold shreds. You all know I love me some shreds and this was no exception. This applied nicely in one generous coat.

Matte-lifornia Love is also part of the Dangerously in Matte Collection. This consists of a clear base and is packed with matte yellow and neon blue glitters. Application was smooth and easy. The images below were one coat over China Glaze Trendsetter and I love the way the base makes the blue "pop"! ;)

Lastly, Mattes Like Jagger which is also from the DIM collection. It's a clear base packed with matte purple and neon yellow glitters. Application was also smooth and glitter distribution was perfect. The image below was done in one coat.

Glitter Daze: The Diva Collection Part II & The Bad Girl Collection

Happy Sunday, beauties!

Okay, from the title you know that this is going to be a pretty awesome feature!
I have been eagerly and patiently waiting for these babies to be released since I first saw swatches earlier this month. :)

The Diva Collection Part II was inspired by none other than the beautiful, Nicki Minaj. I've told you all in the past that I'm a huge Nicki fan, so this collection and I were made for each other! ;) Here are some photos!

The Diva Collection Part II

It's Barbie, Biatch is a clear base packed with white and holo micro hexes, small and medium matte white hexes, medium matte pink squares, and short holo bar glitters. I layered one coat over OPI Pink Friday and was very pleased with the outcome.

Starships is a clear base packed with gold glitter, small magenta hexes, medium magenta, hot pink, and pearl hexes, small gold squares, and gold, hot pink, silver, and magenta shreds. This applied nicely in one generous coat.

Reloaded *gasps* This has got to be one of thee most unique glitters I own to date and my absolute favorite at the moment! It's a clear base packed with black, orange, hot pink, bright blue, and yellow shreds and large hot pink, lime green, blue, peach, and purple transparent-like hexes. I've never seen anything quite like these hexes, so that's what immediately captivated my eyes, I mean, aside from my love of shreds, of course! ;) Pure and utter genius in a bottle! This was one generous coat over OPI Did It On Em.

It all comes, down to this. Yes, I'm actually singing the song and typing at the same time. ;) If you've been listening to the radio lately, you know this polish was named after her song, Right By My Side. It's a sheer, pink jelly base packed with iridescent flakies/shreds. In true jelly fashion, this will require 3-4 coats for opacity, but is well worth the time and effort! ;)

Just for fun, I layered one coat over China Glaze Liquid Leather.

The Bad Girl Collection

In addition to The Diva Part II collection, I also received three polishes from the Bad Girl Collection. Here are some photos!

Prima Donna is a clear base packed with gold glitter, small pearl hexes, medium silver hexes, white and holo bar glitters, and gold and rose shreds. With all the colorful and flashy glitters out, I love how toned down, classy, and feminine this polish looks. This applied  evenly in one generous coat.

B.A.M.F LOL! Yes, you sure are! ;) This is a clear base and consists of silver glitter, medium silver and purple hexes, magenta, aqua, and purple shreds, and  holo bar glitter. Boy am I loving this combo over the dark grey base! This also applied nicely in one generous coat. B.A.M.F. was hands down my favorite from the three. ;)

Lastly, Hot Shot. It's a clear base packed with orange and magenta micro  hexes, medium orange and red hexes, small gold squares, gold holo bar glitters, and gold and red shreds. It's always a good sign (for me at least) when you twist off the cap and the brush is loaded with tons of glitter! Being so, this applied effortlessly in one easy coat. A beauty, indeed!
