Feature: B.Studded Bracelets

Hi everyone!

Today I have two bracelets from B.Studded. Here are some photos!

First up, the Gold Spike Bracelet. This is definitely a bold, statement piece. The spikes are pretty huge compared to your typical spike bracelets, which I love by the way. It's a also super lightweight despite its appearance. The spikes are held together by an elastic band which makes for easy slip on access.

Next up, the Gold Rhinestone Spike Bracelet. Gahhh! This one is absolutely stunning and was my favorite from the two. It's another great statement piece that looks great paired with a gold watch. Like the gold spike bracelet, this is held together by a stretchy elastic band. I love the added rhinestones on every other pyramid! The gold hardware is high quality and has a super luxurious feel.

Feature: Alimonada Bracelets

Happy Friday, loves!

Today's post features two bracelets from Alimonada. Here are some photos!

First up, the Black and Spikes bracelet. This is made up of black beads, gold spikes, and gold rhinestones.    It is clasp free and slips right onto your wrist. I've been reaching for this with every outfit! It adds a bit of glam and edge which I love.

Next, the Cross & Beads bracelet. It is also made up of black and gold beads and of course a gold rhinestone cross. Another great piece from Alimonada! This also slips right on so no fussing around with stubborn clasps! I have to say that I was a bit turned off by the placement of the rhinestones. Some were lopsided and didn't fit nicely into each slot. However, it's only noticeable if you stare.

Packaging - ready for gift giving!

Black & Spikes - $34.90
Cross & Beads - $29.90

Mack Gives Back: Princess Collection Review & Swatches

Hi beauties!

I don't think I missed a single, original Disney movie growing up as a child. By original, I'm talking about movies from the late 80's and 90's, not that High School Musical crap! ;)

My favorite princesses growing up/to date are hands down Ariel & Belle. My top five, you ask?! Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, and Pocahontas. When the movies ended, I remember rewinding the VHS in my little, red car-shaped rewinding machine and watching it over and over again. It was fun for me, but not so much for my older sister ;)

Anyway, that brings me to this post! Today I have a some amazing polishes from Mackinleigh over at Mack Gives Back. Click here to see swatches of her Sounds of the 80's collection.

First up, Snow White.  It's a clear base packed with small, blue, red, gold and silver hexes. This applied nicely in one coat. She wasn't on my list of top 5 favorite princesses, but this polish was exceptionally beautiful. I bet this'll look fantastic over a black base!

Pocahontas is a clear base packed with gold glitter, and small gold, black and blue hexes. I'm so, so glad that she decided to do "ethnic" princesses! For some reason, they seem to be neglected and forgotten in most cases. :( Not here, this was one of my faves from the collection! This was one, easy coat.

Ariel, my favorite princess and my favorite polish from this collection! It's a clear base packed with red and gold glitter, mirco green hexes, small lavender hexes, small purple squares and short red bar glitters. This, in my opinion, is Ariel in a bottle. The red bar glitter really portrays her gorgeous red locks! This was one coat.

Mulan is a clear base packed with mint and hot pink glitters, small lavender hexes, medium pistachio hexes, and small pink squares. In my opinion, this is the most girly, yet laid back polish from the bunch. There's something about pastel and matte glitters that instantly draws my in!  Again, so glad she did the beautiful, ethnic princesses! This was one coat.

Jasmine is a clear base packed with gold, periwinkle, and holo aqua glitters and medium teal squares. As stated above, Jasmine is on my top 5 list of princesses, but was my least favorite in terms of this collection. However, this applied the easiest and the most evenly from the bunch. This was one coat.

Belle is a clear base packed with gold and hot pink glitters and hexes, small, matte silver/white hexes, and small hot pink squares. I loved it so much that, this is my current mani. ;) This applied effortlessly in one coat.

Feature + Giveaway: Gage Huntley Designs

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Today's post features two, statement bracelets from Gage Huntley Designs. Here are some photos.

First, the Chain Bracelet w/ Amber Stone. I've seen tons of variations with gold chains like the one below, but never one with a stone. This is secured with a lobster clasp, but can easily slip onto your wrist. The gold hardware is of great quality and is lightweight despite the size of the stone. Because this is a large statement piece, I would personally wear this alone on one wrist. Classic and chic. <3

Next, the Spike Cuff. Talk about statement! This is definitely the edgiest bracelet I own. This is made up of spikes, studs, and rhinestones. Simply open the side of the bracelet and slip it right on. Being that this is largest bracelet in my collection, I must say that this is quite heavy, but other than that, it's a win in my book! Again, since this is a very loud piece, I would wear it alone on one wrist.

Kardashian Kolors Holiday 2012 Collection Review & Swatches

Happy Friday, beauties!

Today I have the new 2012 Limited Edition Kardashian Kolors Holiday Collection. Here are some swatches!

First up, Kardashing Through the Snow. Cute name, eh? ;) It's a clear base packed with silver, gold, red, green, and sky blue glitters. This applied smoothly, but will require at least 4-5 coats for complete opacity. I would personally use this as a topper, since you all know I'm not a huge fan of 4-5 coaters. The image below was done in three, thin coats.

Next,  A Gold Winter's Night. I'm loving the names! ;) It's a sheer, light gold base loaded with micro pink glitter, gold string glitter, and aqua holo glitters. I noticed that it's more dense when used as a topper(next couple of images) This was done in two coats and dried rather quickly.

All is Glam , All is Bright is a combination of silver, red, and light blue ultra fine glitters. This was the most dense of the three glitters only requiring one coat for opacity. Application was smooth and the formula was perfect! This was also my favorite from the three glitters .

Deck the Dolls is a vibrant, teal beauty. Another cute name! ;) To be honest, I wasn't expecting this shade in a Holiday collection, but I was pleasantly surprised! The first coat was a bit sheer, but evened out after a second coat. This is a must see in person to capture its true color.

One coat of Kardashing Through the Snow over Deck the Dolls

Here We Kome A-Karoling is a vivid, deep eggplant that dries to a glossy finish. You all know that I'm a sucker for deep, vampy purples and this was no exception! With that said, this was my favorite from the three shimmers. This was perfect in two coats.

One coat of A Gold Winter's Night over HWKAK.

Lastly, Keeping Up With Santa. It's a luminous, cool toned red. When it comes to reds and pinks, I'm very picky, but I must say that Keeping Up With Santa has officially made it to my top three reds! I don't know what it is, but I couldn't stop staring at my nails! This was done in two, easy coats.

Limited edition Kardashian Kolor Holiday shades will be available November 2012 for $7.99 each in the U.S. at select Target, KMart, ULTA, CVS, Meijer, Sears, Kroger, H-E-B, Duane Reade, Fred Meyer, Giant Eagle, Harmon, and Winn-Dixie locations.  In Canada, these lacquers will be retailed for $10.99 each in Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaw, and Jean Coutu.

Smooth application
Easy to work with formulas
2 coats max for the shimmers
Even glitter distribution
Glitters can be used as toppers or can be built to opacity
Limited Edition
Available at select stores (see product information above)
What's Holiday collection without green?! :(
Like most glitters, Kardashing Through the Snow and A Gold Winter's Night were a pain to remove. I recommend using the Elmer's Glue or foil method for ease of removal.

As always hope this helps & happy shopping!

Will you adding any of these to your stash? Thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!
