Review & Swatches: Nicole by OPI Carrie Underwood Collection

Good afternoon, beauties!

Today I have the Carrie Underwood Collection from Nicole by OPI. If you enjoy feminine and vampy shades, or are simply just a Carrie Underwood fan, you may just love these polishes!

Love My Pups is a soft, pale pink. The image below was done in three, coats, but is sheer enough to be used for a french mani. This was the most delicate shade from this collection.

Carrie'd Away consists of gold and silver micro glitters. This was one coat over Love My Pups, but can easily reach opacity in three coats.

Sing You Like a Bee is a clear base loaded with gold and white shimmers. The formula on this was a little thick making application a bit tricky, but look at how gorgeous! This was two coats.

Southern Charm is a soft, brown nude. The formula on this was a bit streaky, but evened out in three, thin coats.

Sweet Daisy is a peachy, pink salmon. Of all the girly shades from this collection, this was my top pic. The image was done in two coats.

Carnival Cotton Candy  is a bright, Pepto Bismol pink. This was two generous coats.

Color Me Country is a medium pink with slight coral undertones. This color was a bit meh for my taste. I do, however; love the crelly finish. This was 2 coats.

Some Hearts is a a coral crelly beauty! Look at how squishy! This was two coats.

American As Apple Pie is a vibrant red with a faint shimmer finish. The formula on this was spot on and opaque in two coats.

Party Bus is a clear base that consists of silver holo hexes and flowers. This was one coat, but I did have to fish out the flowers. Lips Are Dripping Honey is a clear base loaded with pink and champagne gold glitter. One easy coat on the ring finger.

Goodbye Shoes is a slate gray with greenish/blue undertones. This was the most random polish from the collection, but was one of my favorites. The image was done in two coats.

Fisher Queen is a vampy, purple/plum shimmer. The picture leans more purple than it really is IRL. It's a bit darker in person. Pretty! This was two coats

Backstage Pass was my favorite shade from this collection, hands down! Look how vampy and glossy! This is my current mani and is absolutely stunning! <3<3<3

Overall, this collection is geared mostly to pink/girly shades, which many of you may or may not like. I did wish there were more variety, but they did offer great vampy colors and glitter toppers, so I'm not complaining!

The Carrie Underwood Collection will be available January 2014 for $7.99 each at retailers including select CVS, Duane Reade, HEB, Kroger, Kmart, Ulta, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Meijer, and Harmon locations.  In Canada, these shades will be available for $10.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart, Target Canada, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, London Drug, and Loblaws.

Which colors will you be picking up? Thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!

Review & Swatches: OPI Brazil & Beach Sandies

Good evening, my lovelies!

Tonight's post features the new OPI Brazil collection and the Beach Sandies collection. This collection is so versatile and I really believe there is a shade here that everyone can appreciate. Read and see why!

Don't Bossa Nova Me Around is a nude creme with a touch of pink. The first coat was a bit patchy, but evened out after a second coat. I'm a huge nude lover, so this has winner all over it!

Taupe-less Beach is a soft, grey/taupe creme. So simple, but such a beauty on its own. This was two, easy coats.

I Sao Paulo Over There is a dusty taupe creme. Another simple, yet gorgeous polish that applies nicely in two coats.

Next Stop... The Bikini Zone is a lavender/grey duochrome. This was two coats over I Sao Paulo Over There. I'm sure a black base would help this polish, "POP"!

OPI Scores a Goal is a purple/red creme. Keep in mind, the swatch below was taken without a top coat! *GASP* This was two coats and was a must have for me!

Where did Suzi's Man-go? I consume mangoes when they're in season, and I've never seen a mango this shade before. I would describe this more as a soft, cantaloupe/pumpkin shade. Call it what you want, this was two easy coats.

Kiss Me I'm Brazilian is a vibrant, bubblegum creme. This was two coats.

I Just Can't Cope-acabana is a bright, canary yellow. This is stunning, but unfortunately, my camera refused to capture its true beauty. This was two generous coats and wasn't too streaky like most yellows.

Toucan If You Try is a gorgeous, coral/orange creme. Oh.My.Goodness. I'm not sure I can handle this much awesomeness! I see this as my go to Summer polish! This applied effortlessly in two coats.

Red Hot Rio is a vibrant red with a jelly finish. Look at how squishy and glossy! I'm super picky when it comes to my reds, but this is... Wow... just wow! This was three, thin coats. Another top pick for me!

AmazON...AmazOff is a teal crelly with a subtle pearl shimmer. This was two coats.

What's a Little Rain Forest? is a bright blue texture polish with a silver shimmer finish. This was two generous coats and was my favorite of the four.

You're So Flippy Floppy is a bright yellow texture. This applied nicely in three, thin coats.

I'm Brazil Nuts Over You is a coral/pink texture with purple shimmers. This was my second favorite and applied nicely in two coats. Sama-dy Loves You is a bright purple with silver shimmers. The formula on these were all the same and required the same amount of coats for opacity.

Overall, there's not a single color from this collection I dislike. From the simplest of shades, to the vibrant statement polishes, this collection is a winner all around. I think I've said that about the recent/past OPI collections, but I truly love each and every shade. This collection is so versatile and I believe there are colors in this collection for all four seasons. Don't you agree?!

Review & Swatches: Zoya Naturel Collection

Good evening, nail polish beauties!

Tonight's post features the new, six piece Naturel Collection from Zoya. If you are a neutral lover, you may just want to pick up the entire collection. Read more and see why!

Chantal is a yellow toned beige that applies smoothly in two generous coats. Each polish in the collection offers a slick finish which I love.

Taylor is a another yellow toned nude, but is a bit darker than Chantal. This required two coats as well and applied effortlessly.

Rue is a pink/blush toned creme. Very delicate and feminine looking and is opaque in two, generous coats.

Bridgitte is a a soft, mauve creme and was my favorite from this collection. I'm very pleased that these colors only require two coats and are streak-free.

Odette is a dusty, orchid that reflects beautifully in the sun. Look how glossy! This was two easy coats.

Normani is a dusty taupe/greige. Again, look at that shine! Stunning! Another favorite of mine.

Overall, I think Zoya did a fantastic job developing colors that offer smooth application and full coverage in two coats. Like the name implies, this is a winner; especially more so if you are a neutral/nude lover.

Which colors will you be picking up? Thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!
