Review: Myrabelle Mascara Shield

When I'm in a hurry, applying my mascara can get little messy and I find myself having to start over. Doing this, ruins the powder foundation under my eyes, which means I need to redo the same process twice. If your an on the type of girl, you know how inconvenient this can be.

With all that being said, I think I may have a solution for ya! This is the Myrabelle Mascara Shield. I was very excited to to receive a sample, since my hands do tend to get shaky every now and then, especially when I'm in a rush!

Here are a few close up pics

It reminds me of my Veet Bladeless Razor

Very Sleek and is able to fit in my makeup bag

The instructions say to place shield behind the upper lashes, lining up the edge along the roots of the lashes. Then, pull up slightly while pressing very gently against the eyelid. Apply mascara and clean in between applications.

For bottom lashes, place shield under the lashes and apply mascara. Wipe between applications.

I love this product for the lower lashes especially because it can get tricky trying to avoid getting mascara onto your skin. It helps to evenly distribute/coat your all you lashes This product ensures that my mascara will stay only on my lashes(which is what mascara is mainly used for anyway!) I experienced no clumping while applying the mascara, and no smudging after I removed the shield away from my eye.

In addition to being a mascara shield, this also acts as a shield to prevent fallout from transferring onto your face. This is great for minerals, pigments, or other finely milled products.

I have to say this product is a bit messy, but only on the shield, which is better than having it all over your eye area and having to start over! It can easily be wiped away w/ water or makeup remover.

Overall, this is a great product. If you are a beginner with makeup, are in a rush, or if you just have shaky hands, I really recommend this product. Two thumbs wayyy up! ;)
