Review: Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream

If you've been reading my previous posts, you know it's been "Swatch Fest" here at the deucebeauties headquarters. Since I'm, repeatedly applying nail polish and then shortly after removing them, my cuticles have been taking quite a beating.

About a month and a half ago, I picked up Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream and decided to give it a try.

$2.99
0.30 oz / 8.5 g

Before & after shots

After a month or so of testing out this product, I am truly amazed at the wonders it has done for my cuticles. They are no longer dry and chapped and seem to better align my cuticles to that perfect "u" shape. I'm not sure, but I think this product is helping my nails in terms of length; they seem to be growing a bit quicker than usual.

Thankfully, this cuticle cream isn't the slightest bit greasy. I've use it at least 3 times a day for 1 month and I still have tons of product left in the container.

Onto the fragrance. If you love the smell of lemon bars, lemon pie, or lemon anything, I think you'll fall in love with this product. The smell is DEVINE and if it were edible, I'd eat it! ;)

Not quite sure why they called it a "cream", so to speak. In my opinion, the texture is more balm like.

When it comes to packaging it's the perfect size to fit in your purse or even your pocket. One downside is the way you open the product. You have to twist and "pry" the lid just to get to the actual product. IMO, it'd be easier if it were a twist off top or a lift up lid.

In terms of usage, it isn't the most sanitary since you take your finger, swirl it around to get the product, distribute it onto your cuticles, then dip that same finger back into the product.

Overall: If you are looking for a product to help aid dry cuticles, I highly recommend Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. It's inexpensive, nourishing, and lives up to it's claims, if not more.

As always, hope this helps & happy shopping!

Have you ever tried Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream? Do you use something similar? What are your thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!

  1. If it also helps with the nail length, that's great. I wish I could have access to Burt's Bees products...
