Good morning!
If you saw my tweet from a few days ago, you know that I finally got my hands on these nail polishes.
I went to my local Target and to my luck, there was one left in each of the three colors! ;) Here are a few swatches!
Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic, and Facets of Fuchsia
Starry Pink - 2 coats
Blue Mosaic - 4 Coats
Blue Mosaic - 2 Coats
Facets of Fuchsia - 3 Coats
If you've read any of my previous posts from a while back, you know that I don't prefer polishes that require more than 3 coats. I just think it's too much of a hassle and life's a whole lot easier with 1-2 coats- that's just me tho. However, for something this gorgeous and unique, I'll go the the struggle! :)
Application was so-so. It's just a matter of the waiting game since I had to wait for each coat to be completely dry before adding the next.
IMO, I recommend using a top coat as this enhances the nail polish to its true beauty- esp Facets of Fuchsia .
Like most glitters, these are bit difficult to remove and require a little more elbow grease than your standard polishes.
I've been getting a ton of e-mails on how I remove my nail polish, so I'm going to re-post that blog post! Stay tuned for that!
As always, hope this helps & happy shopping.
Do you own any nail polishes from this collection? Since Facets of Fuchsia is a dupe for Deborah Lippmans Bad Romance, will you be picking up the inexpensive version? What are your thoughts? I'd love to know down below!
I don't own any but I hope I will soon :)
ReplyDeleteI think I will go for the cheaper ...I even think I love facets of fuchsia more than bad romance :)
ptitemeve: Hopefully you can get your hands on them soon! I also love FOF better than BR! I think FOF has more glitters packed inside the bottle! xx
ReplyDeleteI don't own any of these polishes...
ReplyDeleteI like all of these three polishes! Especially, the glitters in them!:)
The purple one is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute super easy: I love them all! :)
ReplyDeleteDestinee: Yes! That one is my fave! :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I had no idea those were actually that pretty -- I'm going to have to give this set another look!
ReplyDeleteNail Nerd: Yay! Glad you changed your mind! I love them all! :)
ReplyDeleteHi, these polishes are beautiful! My sister bought for me Facets of fuschia (she confused it with Starry Pink! but I'm still very glad to own it)
ReplyDeleteI just bought my first Revlon color today and of course it had to be Whimsicle. I really wanted the Blue Mosaic and Faucets of Fuschia but didn't have enough money. Thanks to this post I know that I need to go get these now. :)
