Good morning, beauties!
I know I've been MIA, but today I have two nail polishes from knockedupnails.com. Let's get started! :)
Mint Chip At Midnight
I am in L-O-V-E with this nail polish! I went through my ever-growing stash and could not find anything similar. I'm not quite sure how to explain the finish, but it's a genius cross between a jelly and satin. This was 2 coats, but perhaps 3 would have made it more opaque.
Craving a Creamsicle
I have been searching for an opaque, peachy, orange with golden micro shimmers and I can confirm that the search has ended. I own many similar colors like this, but they were too streaky and required a gazillion coats. I had no trouble with application and was opaque after one generous coat.
Both, it was suuuper hard to choose!
-Good formula
-Easy application
-Glossy
-3 days before any minimal chipping
-Cute logo and bottle design
-Spring/Summer friendly
- Offers 20 gorgeous colors + 1 base and top coat
-Safe for expecting mothers, those with allergies, and cancer patients and children
-Does not contain toluene, formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate or camphor
- Cruelty free
- Made in the USA
- Being that Mint Chip has a jelly finish, it requires 2-3 coats for opacity like most jellies.
You can purchase these directly from knocked up nails for $10.00 each. Click here to be directed.
As always, hope this helps & happy shopping!

I have never heard of this brand, but seems that it would be perfect for me as I am pregnant :D
ReplyDeleteI had the "mint chip at midnight" nail polish and the base & top coat, this brand advertised their products are safe for pregnant use. But I found it has very strong odor, way stronger then OPI or Zoya..... I thought if its none toxic it wont be smell so bad..?? And after I removed it, 10 of my nails turned yellow, it seems so toxic to me..
DeleteSince am in 6months pregnant, I'm kind of scared to use them again. I'm seriously doubt this brand.

ReplyDeleteHi Carla! I have heard of Knocked Up Nails before, but it always seems odd to consider wearing their polishes when you're not, um, knocked up! LOL! I do like the color of Creamsicle, but I wish it were a cream finish.
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, I did want to tell you that I love the layout of your blog. The pictures are perfect, and the Hypes and Yikes get right to the point. They help me when considering a purchase. Thank you!
I love the concept and names! I think my favorite is "one glass a week" that made me lol. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the concept of these but this the price point is a bit high for what this is. That being said, I love the naming theme and think Craving a Creamsicle is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOoh I really love the green shade! Lovely blog by the way ;)
ReplyDeleteI really really love the green shade!!
ReplyDeleteThe green looks amazing! :D
ReplyDeleteLove the brand name...and the green! Mmm...minty goodness!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe orange is really interesting; I love the shimmer, and I think it's a perfect summer color.
ReplyDeleteI have 'Still Rockin My Hot Pink Bikini' and love it! It's perfect for summer! I also have the top + base coat and am sure to use it even under touch ups. I've had no problems at all with nails yellowing. That could also be due to your nail polish remover or not using it long enough. Love this brand. So happy I don't have to have naked nails throughout my pregnancy!
