Good morning, everyone!
I know I've been MIA for the past couple of days. I've been so, so busy studying and there's a lot of information to retain as a nurse.
Anyway, I'm back with two exciting collections from OPI. First up, Spider-Man then ending the post with the adorable Minnie Mouse! As usual, tons to cover, so let's get started!
OPI: Spider-Man
Number One Nemesis
What a great way to kick off this review! NON is a beautiful olive, grey, gold combination infused with silver, golden-yellow shimmers. This was 2 easy coats. Number One Nemesis has ensured its spot on my top picks!
One coat of Shatter in the Scales over Number One Nemesis
Just Spotted the Lizard
Ahhh, the most coveted polish from the collection! JPTL is a beautiful, golden olive metallic duochrome. I have NO doubt in my mind that this one will sell out F-A-S-T! I mean, how can it not?! It's gorgeous! Needless to say, this is my favorite from the entire collection. This was 2 coats of pure perfection!

My Boyfriend Scales Walls
A white with the slightest touch of gray that dries to a beautiful satin finish. The first coat was a tad streaky, but evened out after the second coat. For a white nail polish, that's a huge deal to me since most of the ones in my collection require about 3 coats for opacity.

Your Web Or Mine?
A pearlescent, frosty carnation/french rose pink. You all know how I feel about frosty pinks; it's just not my color. This was my least favorite from the collection. Nonetheless, this was 2 easy coats.

Call Me Gwen-Ever
A persimmon, or tangelo, if you've never seen a persimmon with a brilliant creme/jelly, high gloss finish. This one flowed beautifully on the nail and was opaque in 1 easy coat. This rounded off my top picks from this collection.

Into the Night
Again, my camera has a love/hate relationship with blues and purples, making it impossible to capture the exact color of this polish. It's a vibrant, sapphire with a metallic/shimmer finish. Surprisingly, this was very sheer. Looking at the bottle, I assumed it would be almost opaque after one coat. This was 3 coats. Oh well, it's a stunner either way! ;)
One coat of Shatter in the Scales over Into the Night
This combination reminded me of Donatello from Teen Age Ninja Turtles! ;)
OPI: Minnie Mouse Collection
Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It
A sheer, pink base infused with what seems to be glass-flecked pink glitter and baby pink hearts. In certain angles, the glitters flash magenta and yellow. I own nothing similar in my stash, so this was pretty exciting! Unfortunately, the hearts were a pain to load onto the brush. So, I found my self fishing around, hoping to catch some hearts. -_- This was 2 coats.
If You Moust you Moust
A blue toned, pepto bismol creme. I know it isn't very original, but still very girly and feminine. I had a difficult time capturing the exact color, but you get the gist. ;) This was 2 easy coats.
I'm All Ears
A beautiful, glass-fleck jelly magenta infused with violet and gold shimmers. This was a bit sheer, but evened out after the second coat. This has made its way to my top picks.
If this looked familiar to you, this a a pretty close, if not dupe for China Glaze 108 Degrees from the 2011 Island Escape Collection. See image below for comparison.
Index & Ring: OPI I'm All Ears
Middle & Pinkie: China Glaze 108 Degrees
The Color of Minnie
A vibrant, cherry red infused with magenta shimmers. This is very pigmented only requiring 1 coat.
1 coat of Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It over The Color of Minnie
Spider-Man: Number One Nemesis, Just Spotted the Lizard, and Call me Gwen-Ever
Minnie Mouse: Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It & I'm All Ears
Shatter shattered immediately
Beautiful Pigmentation
2 coats for opacity
Easy Application
Cute Names
Glossy
Into the Dark needed 3 coats for opacity
If You Moust you Moust was the least original from the whole post
I know many of my readers are over the whole shatter/crackle combinations, but OPI did a great job creating a hunter green shimmer shatter.

I love Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It especially over The Color of Minnie. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a cute combo!
DeleteShades are awesome...
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteHow easily did you get the hearts out of the bottle - did you have to fish them up, or...? :)
ReplyDeleteFish, fish, and fish. lol. Almost to the point where I got sooo impatient.
DeleteAs always I'm not a big fan of orange..
ReplyDeleteBut both collection have great polishes!
I love the shatter! With white it's my favourite!
The white shatter combo was one of my faves also! :)
DeleteBeautiful swatches! :) I'm loving both collections!
ReplyDeleteThank you and me too! :)
DeleteOMG LOVE THEM ALL!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Me tooooo! :)
DeleteAmazing shades! My favorite is Call Me Gwen-Ever =)
ReplyDeleteCall Me Gwen-Ever is stunning! :)
DeleteYou right about the shatter/crackle. I am so over and done with that trend. They don't crack the way I would hope them to. But I am excited for the minnie mouse clear heart glitter polish. I want to layer that over black polish!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, have you tried waiting until the base color was completely dry before applying the shatter? The glitter over black would be a great combo!
DeleteLove the Minnie collection - gorgeous colors!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Super gorge! :)
DeleteInto the Night is beautiful! But how many coats does it need?
ReplyDeleteWhoopps, I forgot to add that detail! It took 3 coats for opacity! :)
DeleteNON looks amazing with the shatter, it's my favourite combo of them all : )
ReplyDeleteOne of my fave combos as well! :)
DeleteI'm not really a fan of the Spiderman collection, but I REALLY LOVE THE MINNIE MOUSE COLLECTION! Eeek!
ReplyDeleteLOL, a lot of my readers are also loving the MM collection!
DeleteThese colors look really nice and some i love
ReplyDeleteWhich were you faves?! :)
DeleteGreat! More lemmings! I think I need that shatter and the duo is Ah-ma-zing!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That's what I always say when new PR's are released! :)
DeleteI am in love with the Minnie Mouse collection, but the SpiderMan one...not so much.
ReplyDeleteMany of my readers are also looking forward to Minnie over Spiderman as well.
Deletenothin Mousie seems cool but I wonder if is not hard to apply The hart shapes. that i does stay in the bottle or in the brush. I had one from Pieces ( from the brand Only: clothes) and was a pain in the butt to apply this one had lil stars but they did stay in the bottle or in the brush if it was possible to apply it on the nail, they were so hard that was impossible to fit the nail shape or the points were so sharp that they stuck on my sweater
ReplyDeleteYep, the hearts are a pain to apply! I found myself fishing in the bottle, HOPING to catch some hearts! lol
DeleteI trough so, I guess no brand has manage to do this kind of polishes well yet
Deleteawesome colors!
ReplyDeleteI really do love "if you moust you moust" !! by the way, I nomineed you with the " I love your blog" because I really do love your blog ;) ( even if I don't comment very often) a hug from Italy!!!
ReplyDeletei can't even decide which one is my favourite, all of them look amazing! i was really excited for Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It, it looks really unique, but as you say, it seems like it would be quite a challenge to get these hearts out!
ReplyDeleteI'm not super impressed with either of the collections, honestly. I'm not a pink fan, so definitely skipping Minnie. With the Spiderman collection, I might get Just Spotted the Lizard and Into the Night.
ReplyDeleteLove your Hypes & Yikes sum up very cool! I'm not at all impressed with the spiderman collection. I might pick up the peridot dupe and my boyf scales walls but that'll be all. I really like the Minnie Mouse set - but I have dupes or really close matches for all but The Color of Minnie so I'll only be picking that one up too. I think my credit card needs a break from all the indie polish bashing i've been doing anyway!!!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the Spiderman theme. The mani with the hearts and the Minnie Mouse red looks super cute :)
ReplyDeletei love these new collections! esp JPTL.. hehe. beautiful swatches, as always!
ReplyDeleteI only like the little cute hearts, everything else does't look original to me
ReplyDeleteIn fact I love the shatter...normally I'm not a real fan of them of I've got to admit this one is pretty...esp love your combo with NON!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the close-ups of bottles and swatches :) ohh, I want these, but I'm SO poor right now...literally no money, stupid student life! :p
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to own Just Spotted The Lizard. Why did OPI launch an all pink mini line? I feel like they could have done a red or a black.
ReplyDeleteI soooo want I just spotted the lizard it's lighter on the pockets than chanel :D
ReplyDeleteI am not impressed with either of these collections; nothing overly spectacular or original. The only ones I'd probably consider buying would be Shatter the Scales and Just Spotted the Lizard.
