Happy Friday, everyone!
Today, I have the entire Autumn/Winter Collection from butter London and two new lippy glosses with matching polishes!
Let's get into the swatches! :)
First up, Doggy Barnett. It's a silver scattered holo that applies smoothly and effortlessly onto the nail. My photo does not do this polish justice; it's much more sparkly and flashy in person! The image below was done with two coats with some VNL.
Trustafarian is a soft, yellow green scattered holo nail polish. Like Doggy Barnett, this applied easily and dried quickly after each coat. Again, these are much more special in person! This was two coats.
Lovely Jubbly is a glitter bomb packed with red, magenta, gold, and aqua micro glitters. This can either be used as a topper over your existing mani, or can be worn alone as shown below! It's sparkly and very girly! This was two coats.
Shag is a rusty orange, copper with a metallic finish. IMO, this is Autumn in a bottle and is my favorite from this collection! :) Application was smooth and the formula was perfect. The image below is shown in two coats.
To finish off this collection, we have Gobsmacked. It's a charcoal, grey glitter that was perfect in two coats. This can feel slightly gritty one completely dry, but a thick top coat would aid in smoothing it down. With Lovely Jubbly being more girly, I definitely think that this is the complete opposite, edgy! :)
Toff is a dusty mauve that dries to a satin finish. Application was smooth and opaque after two coats.
La Moss is a vampy, deep red. I am in LOVE with this color and cannot wait to wear it this Fall! This was two coats, but three would have probably been more opaque.
Onto the Lippy's! As you can see, they're a pretty good match to the nail polishes. They glide nicely onto your lips and are not sticky! Have you ever had Fun-Fetti Cake? You know, the one in the box? If you have, these smell just like them! :)
- Easy application
- Beautiful colors
- Max of two coats
- 3 Free
- Offers glitter, holos, metallic, and satin finishes
Lacquer heads, I know finding holographic nail polishes aren't the easiest thing to find, so if you are on the hunt, I really recommend these!
- Non-sticky glosses
- Cake-like scent
- Doe foot applicator
La Moss nail polish can be a little streaky, so I recommend three coats for opacity
I'm not sure that the holographic effect will be prominent during the Winter since you need a good source of light/sun to catch the full effect.
