Hi everyone!
Today I have the 12 piece Germany Collection from OPI. This Fall collection consists of cremes and shimmers. There's quite a bit to cover, so let's get to it!
First up, Don't Pretzel My Buttons. A nude, beige creme. It applies smoothly and is opaque after 2 coats. I'm finding it hard to choose between DPMB and OPI's Did You Ear About Van Gogh? Both are beautiful nude cremes.
My Very First Knockwurst is a nude shade with pale, pink undertones that dries to a creme finish. Another soft beauty from this collection. Like Don't Pretzel My Buttons, this applied like buttah! This took two coats for complete opacity.
Schnapps Out Of It! is a warm, dusty brick rose shade with silver veining. I'm not a huge fan of these shades, so this was the my least favorite from the collection. It was, however; perfect in two coats.
Berlin There Done That is a taupe, grey creme. This applied beautifully and is opaque after 2 coats.
Nein! Nein! Nein! Okay Fine! is a deep, grey with dark green undertones. This applied nicely and is opaque after two coats.
Don't Talk Bach to Me is an unique dijon mustard yellow with subtle silver veining. I actually enjoyed this color and was very easy to apply. Perfect and streak-free after two coats!
Unfor-greta-bly Blue is a medium, blue sapphire. I know that many blues have the tendency to stain, but that isn't the case with this beauty! This was opaque after two easy coats.
Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs is a red, toned purple with a subtle lavender shimmer. This was perfect in two coats.
Deutsche You Want Me Baby? LOL, I love the name! ;) It is a beautiful, burnt orange infused with golden shimmers. This was perfect in two coats. Come Fall, I'll be wearing this baby for sure!
Danke-Shiny Red is a cool, toned red with a metallic/shimmer finish. This was opaque after two coats.
Every Month is Oktoberfest is a stunner for sure and is hands down my favorite from the collection. It's a deep plum infused with gold, red, and purple shimmers. This was two coats.
And lastly, German-icure by OPI is a vampy, deep wine burgundy with a golden bronze shimmer. In the bottle, this looks very similar to Every Month is Oktoberfest, but once applied, what a total difference right? This was two coats.
- Great Fall inspired colors
- Rich, vibrant colors
- Max two coats
- Flawless application
- Smooth formula
- Offers creme, metallic, and shimmer finishes
- Offers neutral playful, and jewel toned colors
Schnapps Out Of It! was my least favorite, as I do not prefer these kind of shades
Don't Pretzel My Buttons, My Very First Knockwurst, Don't Talk Bach to Me, Unfor-greta-bly Blue Deutsche You Want Me Baby?, and Every Month is Oktoberfest
As always, hope this helps & happy shopping!
Which colors have caught your attention? Will you be picking any of these up? Thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!

Nice collection, but really no new or unique shades in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThis is not really a collection for me..
ReplyDeleteI only like the red one )=
The more I see Unfor-Greta-bly Blue, the more I want it!
ReplyDeleteIt really is beautiful and a must see in person.
DeleteI was not too thrilled with this collection when I first saw bottle shots, but now that I'm seeing swatches I am thinking I may need all of them. I really love this collection!

ReplyDeleteI love first two nudes, but can't choose between them!
ReplyDeleteThese are all really pretty! I especially love the more neutral shades!
ReplyDeleteI didn't like the press releases but am now finding myself wanting at least three, especially the Oktober fest one. OPI seem to have got back on track with last few collections
ReplyDeleteoh my god you have put the longing on me so much more now i have never tried OPI and i have only recently started getting china glaze which in your opinion is the better brand?
ReplyDeleteoh this doesnt help my polish problem lol :) great swatches!
ReplyDeleteI didn't like the press release images either except Suzi and the 7 Dusseldorfs, but I went to Ulta to see them in person and turns out I like about 6 of them, lol.
ReplyDeleteYou captured the actual color of Suzi and the 7 Dusseldorfs well though, it looks much closer to the color I saw in the bottle in person than other swatches I have seen.
A friend just got Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs for me! i cant wait to swatch it!
ReplyDeleteI love Every Month is Oktoberfest, I am going to have to get that. i am a purple girl!
ReplyDeleteI mixed feelings about this collection. Some of them are stunning, but some are in my taste really ugly!
ReplyDeleteMy Very First Knockwurst is so pretty! it's look great with a chunky pastel glitter top coat.
