Custom Nail Art Polishes: Fall & Halloween Collection

Second post of the day!

Today marks the official day of Fall, so what better way to kick off the new season than with the Fall & Halloween Collections from Ashlyee over at Custom Nail Art

I've featured some of her polishes in the past, so it was a great privilege to be able work with her again! Click here to visit my older post.

Fall Collection

Falling Leaves is a clear base packed with small, metallic brown hexes, and medium red hexes, and short green bar glitters. This was definitely my favorite from the Fall collection and are very reminiscent of well, falling leaves! This applied nicely in one coat.

Bobbing For Apples is a sheer, blue base packed with tons of aqua shimmers and large red hexes. This polish was given the perfect name to depict the actual game, genius! Have you ever gone bobbing for apples?! ;) This was one coat over Sinful Colors Why Not.

Pumpkin Patch is a soft, pale orange with hints of pink micro shimmers that shines throughout the nail. The actual color doesn't really translate on the picture, but it definitely reminds me of a shimmery, cantaloupe, if that makes sense. ;) The formula on this is pretty sheer, but only required two coats for opacity.

Bamboo Orchid is a violet, orchid shimmer. I've said it in the past, but my camera does not like blues and purples. *shakes fist at camera* -_- Since purples are huge for Fall, I'll def. be wearing this baby! Like Pumpkin Patch, this is fairly sheer and required two coats as well.

Halloween Collection

Toil & Trouble is a sheer base packed with yellow, blue, red, and lavender micro glitters, small pink micro hexes, small blue, lavender, red, orange, and yellow hexes, small hot pink, green, purple, pearl squares, and short, metallic green bar glitters. This was one of my favorites from the Halloween collection and applied nicely in one generous coat.

Witches Brew is a clear base, packed with orange micro glitters, small metallic red squares, and metallic purple shreds. Another favorite form this collection! This applied nicely and evenly in one generous coat.

Goblin Snot, yum! ;) It's a pale, pistachio base packed with transparent shimmers and large black hexes. I'm really loving this combination! :) After application, I did notice that it dries to a slight, gritty finish, but a thick top coat will aid in smoothing the texture. This was one coat over Sinful Colors Olympia.

Last, but certainly not least, Freddy. Ashlyee describes this as a crimson shade red glitter base mixed with black slices. Another brilliant name to depict the actual character/inspiration. This also dries to a slight, gritty finish, so a top coat is a must! Application was a breeze and was perfect in one coat.

  1. Umm being honest I don't feel the halloween on them. But maybe is the base underneath .

  3. i dont really think they're halloween-y and why does it seem like their formulation is chunky..

  4. I like pumpkin patch...I think alternating that color with black would give your nails a halloween-y feel.
