Review: the Lady Bug spill-proof nail polish holder

Have you ever come close to using up an entire bottle of nail polish? If you have, then you know how annoying it can be to constantly pick up and tilt the bottle in order to get the last bit of polish.

I personally always encounter this issue with my base and top coats since I use them for every manicure. Time after time, I've used up 3/4 of the bottle and am left with the brush barely touching the surface of the remaining polish; this leads me to the "pick up and tilt" maneuver.

I don't know about you, but after painting my nails, all I want to do is top coat my mani and call it a day! It really bothers me to know that after I'm done applying my nail polish, I still have to deal with the possibility of "dinging" my nails as I pick up and tilt the bottle.

Okay, enough about my nail polish dilemma! The folks over at the Lady Bug have created a genius, spill-proof nail polish holder to solve your problems! Here are some photos!

The Lady Bug offers three, slip resistant pads. It can simply lay flat or be tipped at an angle when your running low on product.

What I love about this product is the fact that it fits a wide variety of different shapes of bottles. The pictures below show Color Club, China Glaze, and butter London. It also can hold Zoya, OPI, Sinful Colors, Jordana, Milani, Catrice, etc; you get the idea, it's versatile!

I purposely tipped the lady Bug to test out the rocks without spilling claim and sure enough, lots of rocking, but zero spillage! ;)

While I know that this product may not seem necessary, in all honesty, it has definitely won over my heart in terms of allowing me to quickly, but safely apply my nail polish without having to ever pick up the bottle.

the Lady Bug - $7.95

You can purchase them directly from here:

  9. I think I need this ;-) I like painting my nails sitting on the couch (watching TV hehehe), so I'm afraid I'll spill eventually. Yeah I could definitely use a Lady Bug (love the name by the way!)

  20. This is a really great idea! I've seen it around but haven't actually got around to getting one, especially since I have the same problem as you - the slowly depleting top/base coat that requires me to almost tilt it on its side to pick up the last bits!

Thanks so much for the review! =D
