Tough As Nails Lacquer: It's All Over Now & Breakfast Combo No. 1

Hey, beauties!

Today I have three polishes from Elizabeth over at Tough As Nails Lacquer. Here are some photos!

First up, It's All Over Now. This consists of a sheer grey jelly base and is packed with holo glitters, small, matte lavender hexes, small metallic light blue hexes, small metallic purple hexes, medium matte white hexes, and some matte white shreds. Application was good and applied nicely in two coats with some VNL. A third coat would have probably given a more opaque finish. I def. recommend using a thick top coat to smooth out the glitters. *As always, I never use a TC for any of my swatches to show you the true finish of each polish!*

Next, Go Sit On A Egg, which is part of the Breakfast No. 1 combo. This is a sheer, milky white base and is packed with yellow micro glitters, orange and holo glitters, small matte gold hexes, small metallic orange hexes, and medium metallic gold hexes. This applied nicely in two coats and was my favorite from the duo. TC required!

Lastly, The Baconian Method. As I was writing this post, I immediately started craving bacon and eggs! ;) This is a clear base and is loaded with black and white micro glitter, micro rose glitters, small metallic red and orange hexes, medium red hexes, and orange bar glitter. IMO, these colors are the perfect representation of bacon! Application was effortless and required one generous coat in the image below. TC required!

  1. They're quite pretty but also expensive. I wish there was a way for indie glitters to be cheaper... :)

  2. I don't have any indie glitters but these are very cute! Baconian would be awesome for Thanksgiving! Awesome post - your reviews are always right to the point.

  4. I LOVE the breakfast combo polishes! But before I saw your post I would never have guessed that it would be so gritty! I'm sure you'd need layers upon layers of topcoat just to get it smooth to the touch!

    1. They're pretty gritty, but it's nothing a good, thick TC can't fix!

  9. I've seen this brand around and have been DYING to get my hands on them, but when it comes to payday I always somehow seem to forget until I see them mentioned again, which usually is when I have no more polish money left spare!
