Review & Swatches: China Glaze Hologlam Collection

Good evening, beauties!

Tonight's post features a few colors from the new China Glaze Hologlam collection. Here are my swatches!

Cosmic Dust is a a silver/grey with a strong linear holo finish. Unlike most silver holos, this one has a bit more of a dusty base. This was two coats.

OMG A UFO is a warm olive green with a medium linear holo finish. Not too sure how to feel about this one, but it's a great shade that stands alone among the other colors. This was two coats.

Sci-Fly By is a medium/strong linear sky blue that applies effortlessly in two coats. Love this one! Very clean and crisp on the nails!

Strap on Your Moonboots is deep, navy medium/strong linear holo. This was my absolute favorite from this post and applied evenly in two coats.

Astro-Hot is a soft pink with a medium holo finish. This was probably my least favorite only because I'm not too fond of pink holo polishes. This did, however; apply evenly in two coats.

When Stars Collide is a dusty, eggplant with a strong linear holo finish. ERMAGERSHHHH! Look at that holo goodness! My second favorite from this post and the unique purple holo in my stash! This was two coats.

Overall, I'm really pleased with what China Glaze had to offer with their new holo polishes. The formula on these were pretty smooth for the most part and only required two coats for opacity. If you're a fan of linear holos, you cannot go wrong with these. This collection is very versatile and offers both work appropriate and playful shades. Like most holo polishes, for best results, these require lots and lots of SUN!

These are now available and retail for $14.00 ea.

As always, hope this helps & happy shopping!

Are you a fan of holo polishes? Thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!
These were sent for review.

  1. I'm a huge fan of holo polishes, and have been longing for the sun all winter, because I didn't want to wear my holos without being able to flash them in the sunshine :)
