Swatches: 2014 Nicole by OPI Nail Polishes

Happy Sunday, everyone!

I know I've been MIA from the blogging community, but I'm back with the new line of polishes from Nicole by OPI. Here are my thoughts!

Emerald Empowered is a gorgeous, aqua blue metallic duo chrome. This applies fairly sheer, so I decided to use a black base to help speed up the process and avoid too many coats. It glistens beautifully in the sun and is my current mani. The image below was done in two coats. Application was smooth and streak-free!

Yoga-Then-Yogurt is a creamy, crisp white that applies like a dream! Most white polishes I own tend to streak, but this required little to no effort to achieve a streak-free finish. The image below was done in two, generous coats. This is easily my go-to white at the moment!

That's Putting it Mild is a dusty nude/beige that is opaque in two coats. I Shop Mintage is a soft, mint that applies nicely in three, thin coats. If you're a mint lover, this one is a must have!

Taupe of My Class is an olive, taupe that required two coats for opacity. The formula is smooth and applies with ease.

Teal Me Something New is more of a vibrant, turquoise IMO. Call it what you want, this beauty applies nicely in two coats and offers hassle free application. This Blue is So You is a deep, blue/grey and is very reminiscent of the color a Passport. This was two, generous coats.

Be Awesome is a clear base loaded with holo aqua, gold, lavender, pink, and silver diamonds. Little to no fishing required, but when it comes to diamond glitter, I prefer placing them individually and randomly onto the nail.

Something About Spring is a richly pigmented hot pink which was used as the base for this mani. Oh That's Just Grape is the lavender brush stroke shade. At Least I Pink So is a soft, pink, I'll Have the Salmon is a peachy pink with a subtle shimmer, and Sweet Surrender is a white base that's been touched with a slight hint of pink. As a topper, I used Fabulous is My Middle Name, a clear base loaded with silver, red, blue, and violet/magenta string glitters.

Nicole by OPI formulas are long-lasting, fast-drying, and salon-quality.  The 15 new nail lacquers will be available in stores beginning January 2014 for $7.99 each at retailers including select Walmart, Target, CVS, Kmart, Kroger, ULTA, H-E-B, Meijer and Duane Reade locations. In Canada, these shades will be available for $10.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, Loblaw, and London Drug.

Which shades will you be picking up? Thoughts?! I'd love to know down below!
These were sent for review.
