China Glaze: Crackle Glitters Review & Swatches

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Today, I have the 4 new additions to the China Glaze Crackle Family.
Let's get crackin', LOL ;)

Los Angeles, CA – (March 2012):  Sparkle all summer long with China Glaze®’s new Crackle Glitters collection.  Once again taking crackle technology to the next level, this third-generation polish pairs the edgy innovation of crackling nail lacquer with glamorous glitters.

Jade-d, Gleam Me Up, Luminous Lavender, Glam-More

All swatches are 2 coats of CG Liquid Leather + 1 coat of crackle.
A yellow, lime green crackle in a clear base. This one's a bit deceiving. In the bottle it's obviously a lime green, but on the nail it looks more yellow gold?! Oh well, regardless, this has made my top picks.

Gleam Me Up
An aqua glitter in a clear base. This was my favorite from the collection.

Luminous Lavender
A soft, lilac glitter in a clear base. I think this was too delicate of a crackle for my taste. This was my least favorite from the collection.

A bold, bright, fuchsia glitter in a clear base.

Jade-d & Gleam Me Up
-Smooth formula
-Average dry time
-Cracked immediately
-Super easy to work with
-Insanely gorgeous with top coat
-I know the crackle/shatter trend has been seen over and over, but I love how they've now incoporated glitter
-Anything with glitter, pretty much draws me in ;)

-Luminous Lavender was too light for my liking
-Needs top coat to smooth the glitter out and add shine
-If you're pretty much cracked out, you may not like these

The China Glaze® Crackle Glitters collection will be available as open stock colors and four-piece counter display.  Individual polishes retail for $9 MSRP and will be available at fine salons and beauty supply stores nationwide in May 2012.

A sample of these products were kindly sent to me for review purposes. I am not being compensated in anyway, shape, or form. The reviews on Deuce Beauties my are honest opinions, based on my experience/knowledge with each product mentioned.

  1. Glam-More is the only one I would think of buying.

  2. I'm also only looking at Glam-More. It's very pretty! :)

  3. Very cool polishes! Luminous Lavender is my favourite :)

  4. Cracked out - haha! They are a little underwhelming I think, but nonetheless look great on you!

  5. Very pretty colours but I'm not too keen on glitter crackles.

  6. I would like to see them swatches over a pearl white.

  7. bleh they look ok.. ill wait for them to go n sale at sally's... they remindme of the metal crackles.

  8. I don't like crackles that much anymore, because all of the ones I have got sooo thick... =( But these still look amazing and I just love the blue one! <3

  9. I'm disappointed I have to admit )=
I only like the purple and the blue was beautiful on the bottle but on nails it's not impressive at all )=

  10. I still like crackles, though I wish these were half creme/half glitter so that the effect showed up better than just glitter.... or more of a super dense glitter so they weren't so sheer. Can't wait to try the OPI Spiderman shatter :D

  11. Awww these are pretty!! I've never tried crackle polishes, but I like these better than the regular crackle polishes, they're stunning :) x

  12. Wow I love Gleam me up. I think they'd all be extra pretty on top of white nail polish ;O

  13. OMG !!! China Glaze’s new Crackle Glitters collection!!! This brand of nail polish is great, love the colors and would look great on my nails. I want to find them all :(... in my country is a little complicated but not impossible ...
    I want them all!! :D

  14. I thought I was all crackled out, but these are catching my eye.... fingers crossed they'll be better than the opi shatters h already have

  15. Well, I'm not into crackle polish but these shades are really nice. I wish they had made regular polishes like these... :)

  16. i was tempted by Jade-d but did not buy now i am smitten with the batman OPI crackle that is coming

  17. Love the effect! <3
