OPI San Francisco Collection Nail Art

Hi everyone! 

Today's post features 15 new polishes from OPI's new San Francisco Collection. Being a Bay Area native myself, I was thrilled to find out they were releasing an entire collection dedicated to this beautiful city! Again,  I'm sure you've all seen several swatches of each individual color, so I decided to create some nail art using a combination of all the new shades. Hope you like! :)

Review & Swatches: Zoya Summer 2013 Pixie Dust Collection

Good afternoon, beauties!

Today's post features the new Summer 2013 Zoya Pixie Dust Collection. These are absolute winners in my book! Read along and see why! :)

Solange is a metallic, yellow/gold that is super bright IRL. It's almost blinding! ;) This was done in two coats and offers a very strong textured effect and in my opinion had the strongest effect of the six. 

Beatrix is a tangerine with beautiful golden flecks. This one offered a medium/strong texture finish. This was also done in two coats. 

Destiny is an intense, coral with golden flecks. This one is a must see in person and was one of my favorites from this collection. It applied evenly in two generous coats and offers a medium textured effect. 

Miranda is a raspberry base loaded with silver shimmers. This was my least favorite only because you all know how I feel about wine/berry colors on my nails. This did, however; apply  nicely in two coats and offered a strong textured effect. 

Stevie is a very soft lilac, but too dark to be considered pastel. Another one of my favorites! The formula on this is excellent and applies evenly in two coats. Stevie offers a strong textured effect. 

Liberty - I've saved the best for last, in my opinion at least! It's a vibrant aqua blue beauty! Another must see in person and was my absolute favorite from the six. Breathtaking and magical cannot even describe how stunning this looks in person. Liberty offers a medium/strong textured finish.

Review & Swatches: Nicole by OPI Gum Drops Collection

Good evening, beauties!

I rarely post in the evening and prefer to post in the mornings/afternoon, but I could not wait to get this post live! This evening's post features the new LE Nicole by OPI Gum Drops Collection. If you, haven't heard of this collection, it's basically a textured polish with a matte finish. Here are my swatches! 

I Lilac Gumdrops is a lavender base loaded with silver glitters. This applied nicely in two coats and is perfect for Spring! ILG has a medium/strong texture finish.

Blue Berry Sweet On You is a medium cornflower blue shimmer base. This one has a strong texture finish and was perfect in two coats. This was one of my favorites from the collection. 

Candy is Dandy is a rosy, pink base that consists of ultra fine holo glitters and micro/small holo glitters. The image below was done in two coats. Another one of my favorites with a very strong texture finish. I noticed that this took the least time for the texture effect, which was an added bonus to an already beautiful polish! 

Cinna-man of my Dreams is a burnt auburn/bronze with flecks of copper and grey. It looks very duo-chrome-ish in the bottle, but does not translate onto the nail. This was the one I was most excited to see from the Press Release and it did not disappoint! This applied evenly in two coats and offers a strong textured effect. 

My Cherry Amour is a combination of burgundy/magenta that consists of ultra fine holo glitter. This one also has a strong texture finish and applied nicely in two coats. Pretty, but you all know wine/berry colors aren't my go to colors! 

A-Nise Treat is a black base loaded with silver glitter. Not too much going on here, but still a beauty, nonetheless! Application was a little tricky as the formula was a bit thicker than the rest of the other polishes. Like Candy is Dandy, this offers a very strong texture effect and is opaque in two coats.

Nicole by OPI Gumdrops nail lacquers should always be worn without top coat to achieve the unique textured matte finish.

Review & Swatches: Limited Edition Milani Textured Cremes

As if you all don't already know, textured polishes are among many of the hottest top nail trends to date. Today's second post features the Limited Edition Milani Textured Cremes. Here are my swatches.

Shady Gray: 2 coats

Yellow Mark: 2 coats

Tainted in Red: 2 coats

Aqua Splash: 2 coats

Spoiled in Fuchsia: 2 coats

Purple Streak: 2 coats

Overall, I'm sold on all these shades! The formula one these are very easy to work with making application a breeze. The first coat dries almost immediately and the second coat provides a more opaque finish. Compared to the OPI Liquid Sand polishes, the Textured Cremes only require a minute or so for the textured effect to appear. I used two coats of each polish for the above swatches. My top picks from this collection would have to be Shady Gray, Yellow Mark, and Aqua Splash.
