Mini Haul: Color Club Alter Ego & MORE NailTek

I went to Ross the other day to pick up the last 3 boxes of NailTek Polishes. I swear by these; these are the reason why my nails are long, strong, and healthy. Literally, every Ross haul I post, has at lease one box of these polishes! Click here or here! =)

I also picked up the last Box of Color Club's Alter Ego Collection in Reveal Your Mystery. Here are a few pics & swatches!
(The pinky finger on the right is the only difference)

Sheer disguise: The name speaks for itself! I needed 3 coats to reach the opacity you see. It is an interesting combination of a light cement grey and a light blue. I also have this color on my nails today! =)

Revealed: A gorgeous peachy-pink w/ tiny golden flecks. This was also sheer and required 2 coats.

Incognito: A very sheer/soft nude which required 3 coats for opacity

Secret Rendezvous: A light creamy lavender/lilac which required 2 coats for opacity.

Get a Clue: A soft, sheer baby pink which required 3 coats for opacity

Give Me a Hint: The most opaque out of the bunch. A combination of taupe and plum which required 2 coats for opacity. (I'm sure you can get by with just coat if you apply it thick)

As always, hope this helps & happy shopping!

Are you in love with NailTek as much as I am? Do own any of these Color Club Nail Polishes? I'd love to know down below?

Spotted: Nicole by OPI: The One Less Lonely Girl Collection & Liquid Metal + Revlon Top Speeds at Ross

I went to my local Bed Bath & Beyond yesterday and I spotted these gorgeous polishes! Here are a few pics!

The One Less Lonely Girl Collection
 $6.49ea
(at my BB&B)

For all my Justin Beiber fans/glitter fans, this collection is definitely for you! At first glace, the "light blue-ish/minty green color on the left hand side instantly reminded me of the famous China Glaze For Audrey! Not sure if it's a dupe, but it looks very similar. =)

Next up, these Nicole by OPI Liquid Metal Collection. This collection comes with 4 stunning metallic shades.
Liquid Metal Collection
$6.49ea
(at my BB&B)

"Nicole by OPI ignites a mesmerizing look for the New Year with Liquid Metals. Featuring four new metallic Nail Lacquers ranging from shimmering sea foam to sophisticated champagne, Nicole by OPI’s Liquid Metals collection offers the season’s must-have accessory."
-nicole by opi/ nicole's blog

Lastly, I spotted these Revlon Top Speeds at my local Ross. There were a few other boxes w/ different colors, but my camera died! Gahhh! -_-  Not sure if these are discontinued, but see that "grey-ish/golden" color(2nd from left), it's absolutely gorgeous! My camera does not do this picture any justice!  I've never seen anything like it before!

Color Club Electro Candy Swatches

Let me start off by saying that in addition to blues, purples, and glitter; my camera absolutely hates neons, so this is as close as I could get & as you can see, it still doesn't do much justice! =/ So, imagine that these  colors were amplified by 10 w/ a nice sheen from the topcoat this set comes with. If you are a neon lover, you've got to head over to Ross and try to add this to your stash!  Here are a few swatches & a pic of what's on my nails today! Enjoy!

L-R: Pure Energy(3 coats), Ultra Violet(3 coats), Electro Candy(3 coats), Tangerine Scream(2 coats), What a Shock(2 coats)
Not pictured Volt of Light which is a Neon Yellow(up soon)

Note: Tangerine Scream & What a Shock only required 2 coats to reach the opacity you see. Also, of all the colors from this set, these two colors were both the thickest in consistency, but were still very easy to apply.

(same design as last time, i needed a something quick and easy!)

Pure Energy
Stripe Rite: Gold & Teal
Color Club Striper: White

Color Club + NailTek Mini Haul

I have yet another quick mini haul for you all today. Ever since I purchased the glitter set from Color Club, I was completely amazed with the quality/color of these polishes . I only own the Color Club Nail Art Stripers, which i LOVE BTW, so I decided to give these a try... I figured they would have the same great quality! Anyway, I went back to Ross a couple of days ago, and i decided to pick up the the Neon Collection called Electro Candy. I only own a neon pink, so this was a great way to expand my "neon collection" and since spring/summer is in the near future, it was a win-win! =)

Like the glitter polishes, they are more on the sheer side of the spectrum and require at least 3-4 coats, to reach a good opacity. I'll have swatches up soon!

In my previous posts, I mentioned that I purchased a BOGO free NailTek Set. I've always been very curious to try this, but never wanted to pay $11-12 for a bottle! Well, good things come to those who wait! I've been using this ever since I purchased them and my nails feel a lot stronger and my nail polish doesn't seem to chip off as fast. I picked up another for back up b/c you really can't beat a BOGO free + $4.99 type of deal, you just can't! If you've been curious about trying this out, please, go to your nearest Ross and see for yourself! This has officially become my Holy Grail Base/Top Coat!

Have you tried any of these products? What is your favorite base/top coat?

Current Nail Obsession

Okay, so no nail design today, but I wanted to share my current nail polish obsession w/ you all. In my previous posts, I showed you the Color Club nail polish set I purchased from Ross. To be completely honest, my sole purpose for buying this set was for the color Magic Attraction. In my opinion, Color Club did a great job in naming this polish b/c the name literally speaks for itself. It's got to be one of the most gorgeous glitter nail polishes I own. Just imagine a diamond gleaming in the sun, that's what this reminds me of! I literally took about 50 pictures just to try and capture the true beauty of this polish, however; these pictures still do not do much justice! My camera hates glitters&blues! Here are a few pics I snapped!

Color Club: Magic Attraction
*It's very sheer, I used 3 coats to reach the opacity you see, but nonetheless, it's well worth the effort!

Do you own this polish/have something similar? What are your favorite glitter polishes? I'd love to know!

Hey again guys! Starting today, Wet n Wild Cosmetics are 50% off at Walgreens, which makes the hunt for the 2011 collection more exciting since they will cost half the price! I also went to Ross today "just to go" and to my surprise they had a 7 piece collection of Color Club! There were 4 different sets(Neon, Pinks, Nudes/Browns, and Glitter), but the glitter set REALLYcaught my eyes! To make this "nail polish hunt" even greater, they had about 10 boxes of BOGO Free NailTek polishes!
