OPI Miss Universe 2013 Collection

The second post of the evening features the new OPI Miss Universe collection. Here are my thoughts!

I'm Feeling Sashy is a dusty mauve that applies nicely in three, thin coats. This offers a nice sheen and is top coat optional. 

I'm Feeling Sashy is exactly how OPI describes, a deep, black plum. I'm a huge fan of deep purples, so this fits perfectly in my stash. This required two, thin coats for opacity. 



Miss You-niverse is a gorgeous, silver metallic/foil finish. This particular polish sets itself apart from all my other silver foil finishes because of its unique, grainy appearance. The image below was done in three, thin coats, but a fourth would have eliminated the slight visible nail line. 



MISS UNIVERSE nail lacquers each feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application. This Gown Needs a Crown features a satin finish and should be worn without top coat for best results. These shades will be available October 2013, at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, jcp Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, ULTA and ulta.com for $9.00 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer.
